PDS/PDMS
Pöyry designs the projects in 3D, both in PDS  - Plant Design System and PDMS - Plant Design Management System, building a data base with precise information for project execution and future operations and maintenance. The integrated design allows simultaneous work in different disciplines in the same project, improving the productivity and control, with fewer mistakes. The system is composed of 3D modules that correspond to the basic tasks of a plant work flow chart, including: layout of equipment, piping, electrical cable tray routing, mechanical and concrete structures. The 3D system checks interferences, extracts documents such as isometrics, lists of materials and detailed drawings, and allows the integrations with other kinds of softwares for the analysis of flexibility of lines, structural analysis and SAP/R3.
